Job Description
The Trade Marketing Manager will work collaboratively on Westland commercial and marketing targets primarily in the US and play an important role in maintaining a connection to RCUSA for ensuring accurate roll out of Westland initiatives including but not limited to: limited edition allocations, sales reporting, point of sale organization, development of impactful distributor programming. This role will report directly to the Westland Commercial Director and have regular interactions with Westland Leadership Team as well as RCUSA Regional Sales Directors, RCUSA National Accounts Team, RCUSA Control States and Military Sales Teams. This role is all parts commercial execution, marketing collaborator and brand communicator that helps drive Westland. Location of position is flexible.

Job Responsibilities:
Planning, implementation and localization of programming
• Work with Westland Commercial Director to ensure on time delivery of key commercial initiatives via Westland Regional Distillery Ambassadors as well as broader RCUSA teams mentioned above.
• Work to develop unique sales opportunities within subscription whiskey clubs, whiskey societies for single casks as well as limited edition business.
• Provide regular updates to Westland Commercial Director and Westland Marketing Manager on the state of business within Military & Control States (albeit not actively managing the sales in those areas).
• Drive e-commerce assets execution via Westland Distillery Brand.com platform and develop in tandem with Westland Commercial Director and Westland Marketing Director the "Sales Anywhere initiative".
• Assist in management of annual sales and marketing budget.
• Support coordination of VAPS & Ltd. Editions and other limited annual releases across the US: including pricing coordination, on time arrival of goods and aggregation of pre-sale figures from Regional Distillery Ambassadors.
• Contribute to the budget planning including but not exclusive to activations/localized events, local POS utilization.
Foster collaboration through enhanced communication
• Effectively communicate brand activity in market to RCUSA Regional Sales Directors.
• Ensure RCUSA RSD's and Control/Military Teams are positioned for commercial success with timely information on upcoming releases, global brand team activities and overarching connection to commercial and marketing philosophy of the distillery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationship with the RCUSA RSD's, driving pricing, programing and timeliness of execution for limited releases.
• Effectively communicate brand programs and strategies in an inspiring way to ensure executional excellence.
Minimum Qualifications:
The successful candidate must have strong understanding of commercial development and marketing execution. Strong creative skills to identify, create and leverage opportunities in key accounts and markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
Exceptional planning skills and ability to work within and maintain budget. Working knowledge of distribution network, retail customers, consumer purchasing dynamics, syndicated data, and proven experience in executing brand (commercial and marketing) plans.
